Graham has been working on a tribute to long term RoToR Racing supporter Cardowan Creameiries. Our association with Cardowan, as the are now known, goes back to 1995 when the team looked after a BMW E30M3 for them.
A trip to Leipzig to see his daughter allowed Graham to take a trip to the Porsche factory and test track. They assemble all types of SUVs there and also had a museum with some of their more famous sports cars.
it must be a sign of getting old but there was no interest in a trip to the Formula Ford Festival or for that matter the Walter Hayes trophy. Ian McRae was off to Mull for the rally navigating for a chap in a hired Mini. they seemed to manage fine and got the car to the finish.
Work continues on the various projects abet at a very slow pace due to a shortage of space. What is needed is a massive clear out but knowing our luck if we do that something will turn up and the equipment we need will have just been sold.
